2½-room flat (Maisonette) for 2 people Pontresina (1805 m above sea level) is located in the highest side valley of the upper Engadin (close to St. Moritz) on a sunny and wind-protected south-west facing terrace. In early June you will enjoy a wonderful flora with a large variety of rare flowers. In summer a number of high and famous peaks (e.g. Piz Bernina) is waiting to be climbed or you can take a leisurly walk through woods and along the many lakes in the area whereas autumn will surprise you with very clear views and intense colors of the woods, in particular the golden color of larches. From December to April snow conditions are usually favorable for skiing either in the Diavolezza/Lagalb or PizNair/Corviglia region which became world-famous during the skiing world championship of 2003. The Engadin Marathon track passes very close to the Chesa Linaira. |

addition the the activities listed above, the Engadin is well known for
its many cultural activities like concerts, lectures, guided tours, cinema
in summer and winter.
The flat with its own entrance has
2½
rooms (total area ca. 50m2) which are arranged on two floors in
maisonette style (see photographs). The flat has
parquet floors, is stylishly furnished and has modern appliances
(telephone, TV, radio with CD payer, circulating hot air fireplace etc.) available.
The entrance leads into the dining and living area with a kitchen with microwave oven and forced exhaust, dishwasher. The large sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofabed for an unexpected guest. A fireplace comes in handy on cool evenings. While the south facing balcony gets a lot of sun in the morning, the other balcony in front of the entrance lends itself nicely for reading in the afternoon sun. In addition there is a private sitting area close to a lively brook in the garden behind the house . Absolutely idyllic!
The bedroom, located directly under the roof, is reached via a spiral staircase. It contains a queen size bed. On the same floor there is another toilet containing a sit-up bathtub.
The flat is best suited for 2 adults. There exists a fast Internet-connection for browsing and e-mail via DSL.
In addition to a reserved parking space along via da la Botta, car parking is provided in an underground garage. Furthermore there is a laundromat available for your own use. A custodian takes care of lawn mowing in summer and snow removal in winter.
